1. The Social Republic of Vietnam has received financing from German Financial Cooperation – Program City Development 2008 toward the cost of Urban Environment Improvement in Chu Lai Nui Thanh Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract for XL1: Design and Build Works for Tam Hiep Wastewater Treatment Plant and Construction of Wastewater Disposal System.
2. The Provincial People’s Committee of Quang Nam (PEA) represented by Quang Nam Project Management Unit of Transport Construction Works (PMU) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for XL1: Design and Build Works for Tam Hiep Wastewater Treatment Plant and Construction of Wastewater Disposal System located at Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam Province, Vietnam. The scope of works includes the design and construction of a wastewater treatment plant and the construction of the wastewater disposal system.
3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in KfW’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works and Associated Services in Financial Cooperation with Partner Countries – August 2016 (Procurement Guidelines), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Bidding document.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the PMU and inspect the bidding documents during office hours (08:00 to 17:00 hours) from 02:30 P.M., date 08th April, 2021 to 02:30 P.M., date 07th June, 2021, Vietnam local time, at the address given below:

5. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 2 million Vietnamese Dong. The method of payment will be cash. The Bidding Documents may be collected in person.
6. Deliver bids:
- On or before: 07th June, 2021, at time: 02:30 P.M., Vietnam local time;
- Together with a Bid Security as specified in the bidding documents.
Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened after the bid submission deadline at Quang Nam Project Management Unit of Transport Construction Works. Address: No.32 Hung Vuong street, Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province, Vietnam in the presence of bidders’ representatives who wish to attend.
7. The PMU will not be responsible for any cost or expense incurred in the preparation and delivery of bids.
8. The language of the bid is: English.
