Vietnam Electricity (EVN) is a state-owned economic corporation with the core business of production, transmission, distribution, and trading of electricity; directing and operating the system of production, transmission, distribution, and allocation of power in the national power system; import and export of electric power; investment and capital management in the power projects.
Currently, EVN has been assigned as the investor and is implementing the project to supply electricity from the national grid to Con Dao district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Vietnam (hereinafter referred to as the “Project”), with an estimated total investment capital of about 4,950 billion VND. The main bidding package of the Project is expected to be implemented in the form of an EPC contract with the scope of work including Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of a submarine power cable line with a route length of approximately 77.7 km from the mainland of Soc Trang province to Con Dao island of Vietnam. Power Project Management Board No.3 (EVNPMB3) - Branch of Vietnam Electricity, have been assigned by EVN to manage and deploy the construction of the Project mentioned above.
EVN/EVNPMB3 is looking for contractors and manufacturers with good experience in implementing similar submarine cable projects in the world to execute this Project.
Interested Contractors are requested to send the eligibility dossier in Vietnamese and English including:
i) Introduction and provision of documents on your experience in implementing submarine power cable contracts with a voltage of 22 kV, 110 kV, or higher as an independent contractor/ joint venture/ subcontractor, including project name, investor's name, duration of execution, COD, scope of work which clearly describes the type of EPC contract and/or Engineering and/or Procurement and/or Transportation, Construction and Installation of submarine power cable (EPC or E and/or P and/or C) and the settlement value of the contract;
ii) Introduction and provision of documents on your capability including personnel; machinery and equipment for transportation, construction, and installation of submarine power cable with a voltage of 22 kV, 110 kV, or higher (owned or leased by contractors);
iii) Other relevant information, if any.
